Although not proved without doubt that W3C validation gives you better search engine rankings, it's sure that errors in your code can cause you big problems. On a side note, the going experiment with the use of the Blogger specific platform continues as I test uptake, design/coding issues using default settings, spamming issues and management of posts as well as organic growth and seeding of content via this medium. Extending past the bare bones approach and adding modules to the template layout, as well as experimenting with advert positioning has been a useful exercise.
